Welcome to the Neighborhood!
Dear Neighbor,
Congratulations on your new home—and welcome to Summit Crossings! We’re so glad you’ve chosen to join our community of 131 homes here in beautiful Lee’s Summit. Whether you're unpacking boxes or just getting to know the area, we want you to feel right at home.
Summit Crossings is more than just a neighborhood—it’s a community. Our Homeowners Association is led by a group of residents who volunteer their time to help keep things running smoothly and looking great. Our main priorities include:
- Managing the neighborhood’s finances and planning for the future
- Maintaining and repairing common areas
- Reviewing and guiding home improvement projects
- Enforcing community rules and covenants to keep everything safe, clean, and consistent
We’re here to support you and make sure your experience in Summit Crossings is a positive one from the start.
A Few Helpful Details as You Settle In
Trash & Recycling
We’ve arranged a group discount with GFL Environmental to simplify trash service in the neighborhood. Pickup is every Thursday before 7 a.m. Trash and recycling bins (with the blue lid) should be placed curbside by 7 a.m. and brought back in within 24 hours.
If the bins weren’t left behind by the previous owner, let us know and we’ll help you get replacements. Please remember: bins must be stored out of view (not in the front or side of your home).
Annual Dues
HOA dues are $435 per year, with an additional $165 for trash service, billed together in the first quarter of the year. You can pay securely via credit card, debit card, or e-check on our website. (Don’t forget to register for access.)
Pool Access
As a resident, you’ll have access to our neighborhood pool at 1232 SW Summit Hill Drive once your dues are current. The pool uses a fingerprint access system—please reach out to register anyone in your household over 15. Pool rules and details are available on our website.
Exterior Changes? Let Us Know First
Planning a fence, patio, or new paint color? All permanent exterior improvements require approval from the Architectural Review Committee. This helps maintain the look and value of our neighborhood.
Visit our website to submit an application before beginning any projects. Please allow up to 20 days for review.
