Sec. 29-354 - Stopping, Standing, Parking Prohibited in Specified Places: Except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic, or in compliance with law or the directions of a police officer or official traffic-control device, no person shall stand or park a motor vehicle, neighborhood vehicle, motorized bicycle, or motorized scooter, whether occupied or not, except momentarily to pick up or discharge a passenger or passengers:
- In front of a public or private driveway or alley, or within four (4) feet thereof.
- Within fifteen (15) feet of a fire hydrant.
- Within twenty (20) feet of a crosswalk.
Sec. 29-362 - Parking for Certain Purposes Prohibited:
No person shall park a vehicle upon any roadway for the principal purpose of:
- Displaying the vehicle for sale.
- Effecting repairs, except those necessitated by an emergency.
Sec. 29-363 - Parking Not to Obstruct Traffic: No person shall park any vehicle upon a street, other than an alley, in a manner or under conditions that
leave less than ten (10) feet of the roadway width for free movement of vehicular traffic.
